DIY Haunted House Workshop

On Saturday, Oct. 17, create your own cardboard haunted (smart) house with MESH, a new DIY kit by Sony. Explore MESH’s intuitive drag-and-drop programming to wirelessly connect MESH Tags into all kinds of spooky configurations. From lights that turn off unexpectedly to ghastly shrieks triggered by vibrations, there’s no limit to what you can create!

Construction Technology: This is the study of advanced methods and equipments which can be used to build structures. Construction builds two types of structures. These include buildings and heavy engineering structures. Construction uses various technological actions to erect a structure on the site where it will be. The use of construction technological tools like heavy tractors to prepare land where the construction will be, computer design software to create designs for structures on computers and in 3D format, using various construction technologies to enclose structures and install utilities has helped in advancing both residential buildings and commercial buildings today.

International Online Graduate Program

Skilled Educators create rich learning environments where students are introduced to new ideas, develop new skills, and expand their perspectives. The informed use of technology can engage students in new experiences and create a community of learners across geographical boundaries. The UBC Master of Educational Technology (MET) is a fully online graduate-level program offered by a world-renowned university, that has attracted students from over 35 countries.  In addition to the master’s degree, there are two specialized graduate certificates both of which ladder into the degree program.
